?Hi, I'm Simon.  I'm a 5-6 year old chocolate Labrador Retriever.  I was abandoned at the shelter in New Mexico in a rural area.  I love to retrieve things -- shocking, I know!  OutPaws has discovered that at some point in my young life, I suffered a broken back.  It's all healed and doesn't cause me any problems, but my adopter should be willing to keep me on some anti-inflammatories and some supplements to help me as I age.  Because of my injuries and being out fending for myself, I'm not great with other dogs as I feel defensive and like I may need to protect myself.  I'd probably do best in an only dog home, but could learn to do okay with one other calm, disinterested and older buddy.  I'm a lover with people and will steal your heart the moment you meet me.  I'm just a typical loyal, playful, fun Lab!  If you think you might be my forever family, apply online at www.OutPaws.org/adopt
